Wood construction is a megatrend. New timber construction products are needed to meet the increasing demand.

Scrimber is being developed in collaboration with universities and business partners. The first construction products are expected in 2026. We will give you an overview of the planned product range.

Raw scrimber panels
Scrimber panels are inexpensive raw panels for the production of glulam and laminated timber. Their strength is comparable to that of spruce wood. Intended dimensions: thickness 25 mm, width 1.25 m, length 6 m

Scrimber plywood panels have similar properties to conventional plywood. They have a higher yield with less waste.

Scrimber glulam is suitable for use in engineering timber construction and is comparable to conventional glulam. The lengths and widths are unlimited. Expected strength: GL24h

Would you like prototypes?

Scrimber is to be produced in industrial pilot plants from 2025 and on an industrial scale from 2028.

Until then, it will be possible to obtain prototypes from research production. The possibilities for further products and applications are almost unlimited. Scrimber will have roughly the same properties as spruce or fir and can be used for the same applications.
