March 27, 2023On April 1, Tobias Depnering joins us for Scrimber's product and business development. Tobias Depnering studied Forestry and Environmental Sciences at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg, later obtained a Master in Wood Technology at the Bern University of Applied Sciences and was Head of Forest Carbon Sales at global-woods international AG for many years. We extend a warm welcome to Tobias.
General meeting association IG Scrimber
February 27, 2023The association Interessengemeinschaft Scrimber (IG Scrimber) collects and distributes information and initiates cross-company research and development projects. Those interested in joining the association and investors can attend the general meeting of the IG on 02.03.2023 and will be informed about investment opportunities.
Award for Scrimber
November 21, 2022The Office for Forests and Natural Hazards of the Canton of Bern launched the innovation competition "Ideas Pool KliWa" and awarded prizes to particularly promising projects for a climate-smart forest of the future. Scrimber won the first prize. We are very happy.

"We cannot do without NET" The Environment, Issue No. 2/2022 - When it comes to climate change, we rightly discuss mainly the limitation and reduction of CO₂ emissions from the burning of fossil resources. But this will not be enough to meet the goals of the Paris climate agreement: We will not only have to emit less CO₂, but also actively and permanently remove it from the atmosphere - with technical measures. This is precisely what negative emission technologies (NET) are all about, to which this issue of "die umwelt" is dedicated.
