Scrimber updates and innovations

On April 1, Tobias Depnering joins us for Scrimber's product and business development. Tobias Depnering studied Forestry and Environmental Sciences at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg, later obtained a Master in Wood Technology at the Bern University of Applied Sciences and was Head of Forest Carbon Sales at global-woods international AG for many years. We extend a warm welcome to Tobias.

The association Interessengemeinschaft Scrimber (IG Scrimber) collects and distributes information and initiates cross-company research and development projects. Those interested in joining the association and investors can attend the general meeting of the IG on 02.03.2023 and will be informed about investment opportunities.

The Office for Forests and Natural Hazards of the Canton of Bern launched the innovation competition "Ideas Pool KliWa" and awarded prizes to particularly promising projects for a climate-smart forest of the future. Scrimber won the first prize. We are very happy.

The IWBC Conference has moved from Boston to San Francisco and will be held as part of the Greenbuild Exhibition at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Scrimber and TS3 are part of the exhibition with a booth. Visit us at booth 2559!

IG Scrimber was founded by Stefan Zöllig to bring together all interested individuals, companies and institutions. The association collects and distributes information, initiates cross-company research and development projects such as an analysis of the value chain or a site evaluation for a pilot plant.
